First and most important, my physical therapy appointment on Friday went well. It hurt, as in, more painful than most pain I have ever been in, aside from the kidney stones twice. I hope that one will never be beat. I got the torture massage, then they taught me some more stretches. I think I might have to do this a few more times. Apparently there was improvement, but not enough to stop yet. I have been doing the stretches since Friday and they have definitely helped a lot. I even bought a foam roller, although right now it is too painful to do it on the achiles section of my legs. They are bruised from the torture massage.
I however did not workout at all since Thursday. Yes, horrible. But I was also instructed to not workout on Friday and Saturday. So there. hah.
Lets back up to Thursday.
I started out breakfast with a croissant at my work meeting. 2 mini ones. Those do not fill me up. Camera ate the photo.
Then I had torchys tacos for lunch. Avocado taco and a shrimp taco. I felt sooo gross after. Strange.

I got hungry later, before my workout at had this fruit crisp thing from the work snack area.
After work I went to the gym and ran 3 miles. I also got interrupted in my workout by a hair dresser telling me he could make my hair better. Who couldn't at that point I was sweating everywhere. It was strange.
When I got home I made Mike a nice dinner because he completed his THESIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayayayayaya.
I made baked ziti and he made meatballs. We also had some garlic bread and a salad. Mmmmmm.
On Friday I started my day with a raisin english muffin with some smart balance.
Lunch was an arnold thin with a meatball cut in half, and some mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. mmmmmmm.
Dinner was with a bunch of friends for Sarah's birthday. It was potluck style and everything was amazing.
Saturday I started my day with another english muffin with cinnamon swirl pb. Amazing.
Then the health went downhill from here. I met up with a few friends to do a Live Oak Brewery tour. Lets just say we got lots of free samples.
After this we needed food in our tummies. So we went to Hills Cafe and got burgers. I was told they were the best burgers in town and I had to try them. So I did. It was pretty tasty. But I ate too much. About half.
Then I went home and napped, and then met up with my friends at the Trailer Park Food Eatery area. It was my good friends last day in town so we were going all out.
I got the curry dog, which was essentially a hot dog with jalapeno chiplets and ketchup with curry in it. Not the best. I only ate half. But felt horrible after.
I rushed home from this and then threw a party for the friend going away. We were hosting it at my place and it ended up turning out to be pretty spectacular, aside from Shannon leaving :-( I put out a nice spread of food, as well as all of my friends who brought their entrees. It was tasty but I barely ate because I felt so gross from earlier in the day. Oops. A lot of people ended up coming over, and we stayed up until around 4am. Phew. It was definitely a great night.
On Sunday, I slept in pretty late, or rather slept about 6 hours, but when I woke up it felt really late. Because it was the afternoon by then. Heh.
I started the day off with an omelet (2 eggs). We had hardy any veggies in the house. I had a bell pepper and found some frozen squash in the freezer. I added some onions and garlic and some gouda. As you can tell, my omelet was really a scramble in the end. Oops. The squash ended up tasting fishy. Gross. I ate a few and then threw the rest out.
Mike and I had dinner plans to eat at Uchi, an amazingggggggg sushi place. It is currently rated #9 on Yelp in best restaurants in Austin. Teddy gave us a gift card as our wedding present. Mike and I wanted to celebrate him being done with his thesis with it. Yay.
This was tempura punpkin. Mmmmmmm.
This was hot rock, with beef. You cook your own. It is amazing.
I intend to only eat healthy today. Aside from that one cookie that was presented to me at a work birthday event.

HOLY CRAP that curry dog looks INSANE!
ReplyDeleteI want veggies too after seeing all that LoL
