Busy Days, Busy Nights

It was so nice to get Tuesday off to be able to spend more time with my little brother and his lady. Unfortunately on Wednesday getting back to work meant I had to do 2 days worth of work (or so it felt). That is how it always goes right? heh.

On Tuesday I woke up and made everyone breakfast. Just some waffles. I knew this wouldnt keep me full most of the day so I also made myself a bowl of yogurt with fruit and granola.

The first thing we did once leaving the house was go to Alamo Drafthouse. We watched Cyrus there, and ate lunch. I got the mac n cheese. Mmmm.

After the movie we went to South Congress and walked around the shops a bit. It was soooo hot out shopping we ended up getting snow cones. I got the coconut pie kind. Mmmmmmm.

Then we came home and rested a bit, and then went out for our playoff game. As mentioned before, Mike injured his back last week so he was not allowed to play. Josh (the little brother) stepped in and subbed for him. The game went into double over time, and then went to shoot out. We ended up losing by one goal int he shoot out. It was CRAZY!

We ended up staying and watching the rest of the games. Some girl on another team dislocated her knee cap and so one of my friends subbed for her and ended up playing a few more games. So we were able to watch the playoffs without even noticing we had been there for hours. hahah.

Once the games were over, we all went to Black Sheep Lodge. I got the sliders with sweet potato fries. I only ate 1.5 of the sliders (there were 3). Josh took some from me so I wouldnt waste them.

The next morning I had to go to work. I started the day with some leftover waffles with some pb and honey. Mmmmmm.

Later I had some spicy trail mix. Mmmm.

Then we had freebirds at work, for catered lunch day. I got the vegetarian bowl. I ate about 1/2 of the bowl. It was comprised of beans, lettuce, pico, salsa, cheese and guac. I didn't eat the tortilla and only had a few chips.

After work I met up with the little brother and his lady, and we made some sandwiches and headed out to Blues on the Green. I had a ham and cheese sandwich and some kashi crackers. Yummm.

We had a blast but I didn't end up getting home until late, and then I had to wake up early to go to work early. I have a doctors appointment today with a sports injury specialist for my achilies tendon issues. I am super nervous and have no idea what to expect. I hope we figure out the issue ASAP and get it solved. I am so dumb for waiting so long to take care of it. Oh well.

Have a good one!
