I wish everyday was a Saturday

Yesterday was a highly relaxing and productive day. I started the day by making my "famous" waffles with an egg on top. And then ate them while watching Battlestar with Mike.



After that I completely cleaned my car. Including vacuuming and using cleaning supplies on the interior.

Then I went to the gym. I did a C25k run and then when that was over I did a walk on the treadmill where I increased the incline every thirty seconds until I got to 13 and then I went back down. Jess feeling pretty dehydrated so I really didn't want to run the whole time.

After that I went home and was starving. I thought of this meal in the car. It looks ugly but it is ohhh so tasty.

I grilled bell peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms in the cast iron. Then added some sausage we had from Costco (amazing with jalapenos in it) refried beans, cumin, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Later I added some cheese and some corn chips.



After lunch I cleaned up around the house a bit, then did some shopping. I also shopped at the grocery store and just picked up fruits and veggies. I need to get some supplies for the little bro coming into town but not sure what yet.

After a busy day, mike and I decided to get some Thai food to go and watch a movie at home. We went to IM Thai, formerly Ck Thai and now owned by the people who used to own Thai Tara.

Mike and I thought they just had a plant in front of their restaurant but it was really lily pad type things with fish in it! Look closely and you can see orange fishes!


I got the pad kee mao with tofu.


Then we shared their delicious rice balls. Mmm.


The movie we watched wad the German/sweeten/dutch version of the girl with the dragon tattoo. I was not that impressed w the movie but am looking forward to the American version to see if they can improve it. I think the general storyline was good but definitely needed some edits. Haha.

Alright I need go start my day now!
