Breakfast
I started the day with wanting a kolache but settling for some lucky charms and a latte.
On twitter I said I wished there was a Kolache fairy. After getting to work I found out one of the teams at work was already getting some and saw my tweet so brought me back one. How sweet! I was so excited about the Kolache fairy surprise!
Lunch
Because I had a kolache hours before lunch, I wanted a small lunch. We went to Masala Wok. I got the wok veggies, which were said to be vegetarian. I figured they would be since we were at an Indian restaurant where they tend to be stricter about things like branding things as vegetarian. Pretty sure it had chicken on it though because it made me chicken poisoning like sick and my stomach has been messed up for a few days now. Beautiful.
I ordered spring rolls, expecting the kind in rice paper. But I guess their's were fried. I suppose this also could have chicken in it as well. Not sure. Either way, not eating either of these dishes again. Ugh.
Melancholia at the Drafthouse
After work I went to watch Melancholia with Michael. My stomach was still very iffy, so I ordered something plain. I just got the mushroom pizza. It did not further contribute to me getting sicker so that is a plus. I am not too sure what to say about the movie, other than I think it would make a great short. All parts of it were beautifully shot, and each scene had great moments, but put together it just wasn't that great. I could not recommend it to anyone either, unless they love super indie artsy movies.
