Workout
Even though I knew I would be up late, I knew I needed to fit in a workout to meet my 5-6 workouts a week goal. I did a 45 minute strength workout with the Nike trainer that included wood chops, single leg dead lifts, inch worm push ups, touch ups, reverse crunches and more.
Breakfast
For breakfast I had some more honey nut crunch cereal.
Lunch
I had lunch with a few co-workers to get sushi. I got the California Roll because it was super cheap that day for a special that also came with miso soup. Mmm.
East Side Kings Tour
For my friend Teddy's birthday she wanted to do a Pub Crawl/East Side Kings Food Trailer tour. We started off at East Side Show Room, then went to Shangri La. At Shangri La we were able to try an East Side Kings trailer I had never tried. Mike and I ordered two different types of buns and shared them. We got the avocado bun that included seared avocado, spicy mayo, crispy shallots, cilantro, green onion. We also got the "Pho" Buns which included dipped thinly sliced beef, Sriracha, Hoisin sauce, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, crispy shallots, green onion, lime, served with au jus.
We later went to a few other bars and ended our night at The Liberty Bar, where I tried to order the Beet Fries but they were out. Ahhh. It was all I wanted and I was the first one they turned down. Boo. I did however get a curry bun which included peanut butter home made curry in a deep fried bun, fresh basil, cilantro, mint, onion and jalapeƱo. Holy yum. I have had this before, but loved it just the same. Or maybe even more because I had been craving it almost everyday since I ate it the first time. hah.
