Breakfast
Michael convinced me to make waffles for breakfast. I am glad he convinced me because it was perfect.
Lunch
After doing a lot of errands, including a trip to the grocery store, I made a portobello burger with grilled onions and cheese with a side of kale chips.
Dinner
For dinner I had a roast beef sandwich with cheese, cilantro and basil with some chipotle mayo and part of a Serrano pepper with a Hawaiian roll. The pepper I put on it was so spicy, I was dying in pain for awhile. Normally I can take heat, but this pepper was too hot. I spent about 20 minutes with either an ice cube in my mouth or milk in my mouth. Nothing worked, except allowing time to go by.
Before eating my sandwich, I had these green beans.
LA Galaxy vs Houston Dynamos and a Sleepy Pup
A few of my friends got together to watch the MLS Cup, with the LA Galaxy vs. the Houston Dynamos. My friend had just gone to Fredricksburg and brought back a bunch of German beers. We sampled a few of them in fun sampler glasses. Mike also made some queso, and we all indulged a bit in that. Yum!
Do you watch Soccer?
