November 26, 2011 - One Before the Road

Breakfast

Mike's aunt brought over some pastries from Brazil. I got to try a small slice of it. 

Later on we went to breakfast at the place where Mike's mom plays tennis. I got a belgian waffle. This belgian waffle was delicious. It tasted like bananas were infused in the batter. Mmm.

Mike and I ended up eating leftovers before heading back home to Austin. I had some leftover turkey and sweet potatoes and a salad with turkey and cranberry sauce. So good! We ended up watching a few episodes of Breaking Bad with Dean before heading out. I think he is a fan of the show. Yay!

Dinner
Once we got home from our 3.5 hour drive we were hungry. I ended up making some frozen veggies. We had no fresh veggies in the house and we both really wanted veggies.

I also served up some pasta. I was planning on making gnocchi but disocvered the gnochhi I had was past its expiration date. Oh well. It still tasted good.

Mike and I started the movie The Illusionist (the french one) but halfway through ATT Uverse wouldnt allow it to work. I ended up getting a terrible headache, and was kind of thankful the movie had ended because it gave me an excuse to go to bed. The headache was so bad I actually took meds and I rarely ever do when I have a headache. Luckily by the time I woke up, I felt better. Yay.
