Pie for Breakfast
I ended up eating pumpkin cheesecake again for breakfast. They had to get eaten at some point right?
Interval Run
I was really motivated to get a workout in after not working out for a few days. I was most interested in getting a nice run in since we skipped our soccer game this week due to the holiday. Normally I get in a nice 90 minute workout once a week and missing it felt weird. I decided to go to the gym and get in an hour interval run in to make up for it. I was considering doing more than an hour, but ended up exhausting myself so much that I didn't want to. For the run I ran on a treadmill between 7.0 - 8.6 for the run part and 3.5 - 3.8 on the walk part. I am getting much more comfortable running at a 8:30 minute mile pace, although only for 1.5 minutes at a time so far.
Lunch
After the workout I went to the grocery store. Then I came home for lunch. I was very hungry at this point. I had a hawaiian roll with some roast beef, basil, cilantro, jalapeno and peanut butter. Sounds really strange I am sure, but it's delicious.
While working on some stuff at home I got to glance outside at Ender during the day just enjoying the nice weather. That guy will just sit and stare at the squirrel's all day. It is hilarious to me and adorable.
Dinner
For dinner Mike and I got together to make a meal. I heated up some green beans that ended up tasting so gross that I had to throw them away. Maybe this is why they were on discount? Gross.
I also made some mashed potatoes because Mike was making a pot roast and he wanted them underneath the pot roast. This was our first time ever making it and it turned out to be very tasty.There were potatoes, celery, carrots, onion, mushroom soup, garlic and possibly more. Either way it was delicious.
