December 19, 2011 - Unintended Breakfast

Unintended Breakfast
I went to work with the best intentions to eat a granola bar for breakfast. But somehow a white chocolate peppermint red velvet cakeball showed up at my desk. It was pretty good, but too much sugar too early in the morning. Please note I am not really the biggest fan of sweets like this. At least not very often. So when I say unintended, I really meant it.

Lunch
One of my co-workers had a birthday recently and we wanted to have a birthday lunch for her. She chose Jason's Deli, which I love, so I was extra excited. I love their salad bar. It reminds me of college, when I used to eat from the salad bar at least 4 times a week. So good.

Snack
I ended up needing a snack of these delicious cookies to tide me over.

Dinner
After work I went home and made some fried rice with some leftover potsticker filling from a few nights before. Once Mike and I realized the pot stickers were not the best, we saved our filling for another meal. I ended up just using some day old white rice, egg, pork potstick goodness, green onion, corn, khorabi, cabbage and probably more. It was pretty delicious, even if it wasn't the healthiest. I am glad we were able to save our failure of a meal to make something much better. Yay.

Question?
Have you ever been able to save a failure of a meal you made?
